I'm Emily Kopieczek and I own Edits by Emily.

I am a highly organised, experienced and detail-oriented editorial professional. I deliver copyediting, proofreading, editorial project management and digital reviewing services to publishers and creators of educational content. I have worked in educational publishing for over a decade, including seven years spent in-house.

 

I specialise in editing for English Language Teaching (ELT) courses. I also enjoy working on Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) titles and academic textbooks. In addition to formal copyediting and proofreading training, I also hold the CELTA and APM PMQ qualifications.

I am an Advanced Professional Member of the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading (CIEP).

As of December 2020, I am working towards an MA in TESOL at the University of Birmingham.
